The Wealth of the Wealthy

May 3rd, 2008 by heshamdack

By Mellody Davis Some may ask, why cant I have a lot of money? Or some may say I wish I had wealth. Well lets see what the Bible say about wealth. First we must understand the Blessing of Abraham, and to understand that Jesus is over everything and it all belongs to him. In the book of Genesis 12 :2 it says I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and who ever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Now look at Genesis 13:14 it says The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, Lift up you eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you. In Genesis 22:17 it says I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me. Now in the book of Deuteronomy 8:18 it says But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefather, as it is today. If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God. Now look what it says about Wisdoms Call in the book of Proverbs 8:17 it says I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing wealth on those who love me and making their treasuries full. At Proverbs 23:4 it says Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. Now look at Jeremiah 9:23 it says This is what the Lord says: Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this; that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight, declares the Lord. Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 19:23 it says Then Jesus said to his disciples, I tell you truth, it is hard for rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, Who then can be saved? Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Now look at 1Timothy 6:17 it says Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. Look at the book of Isaiah 10:3 it says What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches? Nothing will remain but to cringe among the captives or fall among the slain. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised. Take look at Psalm 119:14 for a moment, it says I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoice in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. What a beautiful statement the whole chapter is wonderful. Just think of the reward we have to look forward to. Now lets look at further benefits of wisdom. Look at Proverbs 3:1 it says My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Look at Romans 11:32 it says For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord! Or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him? For from him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. Now look at Ephesians 2:6 it says And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this not from yourselves, it is the gift of Godnot by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Look at Colossians 1:27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me. In closing look at Psalm 34: 9 it says Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Look at verse 19 it says A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. In the book of Matthew 6:33 it says But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these thing will be given to you as well. Hair Removal Solutions: Laser Hair Removal and Others

April 28th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Sam Natarajan Fear no longer the ignominy of unwanted body hair. If you have been willing to walk should somebody show you the way, you have come to the right place for hair removal solutions. Here we present some of the popular hair removal solutions like laser hair removal among others which can offer you the flight of fantasy that you have been seeking for so long to become truly beautiful. Laser hair removal: The latest technology in the long list of hair removal solutions, laser hair removal offers a easy to use, extremely effective method to get rid of unwanted body hair and is long lasting in its effect. Men and Women alike have benefited from this superb technology which promises unwanted hair removal from virtually any part of the human body. The principle of hair removal by laser is based on the fact that thermal agitation of the hair follicle and bulb under the skin causes the bulb to destabilize, break down and forego the capability of regeneration. Thus laser hair removal is precise and effective in hair removal. Shaving: The most common and the oldest hair removal solution in the market today and world different from laser hair removal. Shaving is a self administered hair removal solution in daily use by both men and women for getting rid of body hair. The equipment required is low-tech : a shaving razor, brush and cream is all that you need. However the application is limited to only areas on your body that you can see and reach and is not definitely applicable for the tender areas on the human body. This is not a permanent hair removal solution as well. Tweezing: Otherwise called plucking, this method involves using a pair of tweezers to pull the hair out of the skin to ensure hair removal. This method is particularly painful and suffers from the same drawbacks of shaving in terms of permanence of effect and areas of applicability. It is hard to imagine that laser hair removal and tweezing essentially are solutions to virtually the same problem. Electrolysis: Before the onset of laser hair removal, electrolysis was widely touted as a very effective method for hair removal. Its different from hair removal by laser in the sense that, instead of a laser beam destabilizing the hair root, its an electric current that does the same job. This treatment also needs to be administered for a longer period of time as compared to laser hair removal and is definitely not for the faint hearted. In our opinion amongst all the options of hair removal available in the market today, laser hair removal seems to be the most promising. Its just a matter of time before the technology becomes so prevalent that even for the unfortunate few for whom cost is a hurdle, it will be within reach of their financial boundaries! Principles of Citizenship

April 26th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Vicheka Lay Introduction Know your human right (High profile campaign of the fortieth anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human right). Human rights and fundamental freedoms are the birthright of all human beings; their protection and promotion is the first responsibility of Governments (Vienna Declaration and Program of Action 1993). For our human livelihood, approach to citizenship is the very first instigation (Coined by Lay Vicheka, 2005). Live to the best of our dignity, I would say, is my very persuasion to such the essay titled; Principles of Citizenship. Until today, the best way to lead humankind is through rationalism is still valid. Everything shall have its one or more purposes, but prior to gaining such the purpose(s), we should initiate by knowing ourselves as much as possible. Everyday, on daily national television, we have been brainwashed by human rights issues from global perspectives, the rights of the citizens, the relationship between the rulers and the ruled, inter-state relations, and even human right. The purpose of this essay is to define the word citizenship from my perspective. I will draw the ideas from the very general perspectives to the very specific ( Cambodia ). How a person holds a citizenship values. Recently, I have been accused of proving to be intelligent (from mostly the uneducated), but no matter what will happen, how hard it will be and how mistaken I am, I believe that I am positively contribute to Cambodias well-being, and this is one of other contributions for Cambodia general good. Thanks for reading my article(s) and constructive criticisms. Most of us holding National Identification Card, Passport and other administrative certificates; birth, marriage, and death, but we dont know for sure what are the essences of those materials. The purpose of this paper is to endeavor to catch the already-there opportunities of every people as much as possible. Its Definition I am not trying to coin the new definition of the term citizenship, since it has been clearly defined by well-known professional experts. But I like to express my own view on such the abstract tactic. Citizenship, in my perspective, is peoples routine activities that directly or indirectly affect the governments policy. For example, if a person decides to go to cast the ballot, he or she is filling one of the principles of citizenship, which will affect the government. Such the decision to cast the vote does affect the governments policy, because peoples political rights is one of the most prominent policy of the government. So what are the fundamental and central rights and obligation of citizen? It would be too much to list all the fundamental and central rights and obligation of the citizen, since I just want to show the path to citizenship and you, the readers, are obliged to steer your own boats. The Right to Life: Every Khmer citizen shall have the right to life, personal freedom, and security. There shall be no capital punishment. Article 32 of the Cambodian constitution (1993, amended in 1999). Dont think this right is awfully simple, as I was confused myself as well. The right to life has a very broad meaning and as Smith stated in his International Human Right; other rights just add qualities to this right. So what are those rights to life? I think to make the reader easy to understand, I take Maslows theory on physiological needs; food, shelter, clothes, love, care, dignityetc as the foundations of these rights to life. Just think about these physiological needs and then you will understand that your right to life is arisen from these needs. The right to life is the birthright of every humankind as indirectly stipulated in the universal declaration of human right and the charter of the United Nations Organization. We are lucky to be born human, but our human quality or tenet will be withdrawn if our right to life is inadequate or non-existent. For our essence of humankind, the right to life is extremely important and must be equal amongst all other human persons, either in the Cambodian, regional or global context. And as I quoted on the top; the right to life the foremost responsibility of the government. It is the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights for the second generation is in particular, concerned with the right to life: the right to education, the right to appropriate housing, the right to social security, and the right to a safe and healthy working environment and adequate leisure and rest time (Smith, 2005, p. 46). Cambodian constitution 1993 and amended in 1999 all clearly stipulated such the right to life: personal freedom and security, the right to choose employment, enjoy the protection of the State, etc. And we even see that the right to life must be meticulously equal amongst all the Cambodian people and the rest of the world, as article 31 stipulates The Kingdom of Cambodia shall recognize and respect human rights as stipulated in the United Nations Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the covenants and conventions related to human rights, womens and childrens rights. The Right to Political Participation: Dont think this right is awfully not important for the people in the twenties century. But why political participation from the people of all walks of life is important? Most people (wrongly) think that politics is just for only some kinds of people; lawyers, politicians, intellectuals and other interest groups. Moreover, politics are not important to them, since it does not positively or negatively impact their lives. Such the ignorant mentality has, of course, extended until today. When just starting with political topic, most of the elders would say it is none of our business, what we should care is to make sure our stomachs are full, politics is nothing to us, it is just for the politicians and their counterparts. Yes, as I said above, the right to life is the most fundamental right, preceding all others, but it is hard to make most of Cambodian people be aware of their rights or even innate rights, since political participation is largely abstained. As we can see, Cambodian peoples rights like other people around the world are guaranteed by the state and other legal instruments. For instance, Article 15 of Agreement on a Comprehensive Political Settlement on the Cambodia Conflict states that: All persons in Cambodia and all Cambodian refugees and displaced persons shall enjoy the rights and freedoms embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other relevant international human rights instruments. To this end, a) Cambodia undertakes: to ensure respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms in Cambodia ; to support the right of all Cambodian citizens to undertake activities which would promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms; to take effective measures to ensure that the policies and practices of the past shall never be allowed to return; to adhere to relevant international human rights instruments; b) the other Signatories to this Agreement undertake to promote and encourage respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms in Cambodia as embodied in the relevant international instruments and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly, in order, in particular, to prevent the recurrence of human rights abuses . Not only the international instruments, Cambodian constitution also guarantees the right to enjoy political participation as they are the steer of their country. Though many criticisms have been drawn on Prime Minister Hun Sens government, I still claim that his government does have the mentality toward free-market economy and for-the-people policy. What I am trying to do here is just to show you the readers that all of us already have power-in particular, the political power. But our weakness is that we dont know or may be scared to use such the innately imposed powers. The right to political participation is already stated in many Cambodian provisions and other legal acts, and what we should do now is to make those abstract ideas into realities; the most valuable of an idea is practice, people can be well-respected when they turn their ideas into practice. Citizens Rights Vs Human Rights: It shows much difference between Human Rights and Citizens Rights, especially for such the perplexed world. So how the two rights prove differences? As stated by ancient Greek and French philosophers, humankind is bounded by innate rights; physiological needs, unlimited use of natural resources, expression, dignity, movement, and indeed, these rights are guaranteed by the state, with legal act and other provisions as the testimonies. However, since we are the citizens of one state, we are bound by the contract with the state. This contract is the Constitution. Of course, my aforementioned rights are guaranteed by the Cambodian government as well as other governments in the world, but one statement has been added to those innate or natural rights: as long as it does not impinge with other rights. Such the statement has turned, I thought, the innate/natural rights into citizens rights. Returning back to those ancient philosophers, human rights are unlimited, genuinely equal, but such the theory does not apply anymore to our modern civilization. To restore the public order and other public goods, we are divided between the rulers and the ruled. The ruled vote for the rulers to hold the offices. Though we are the ones that select members of parliament, we are already expected to comply with the laws adopted by whom we have selected, and of course, they must comply also with what we have expected before we vote for them. This stream, I call, is the mutual contract; we are bounded by the laws adopted by those we vote for and they must also comply with our opinions. By raising such the concrete example, I believe, we can clearly see that human rights have been turn to citizens rights since we are the citizens of one state. This means that our rights are limited and we are obligated to pay remedies for our wrong-doings: accountabilities. Conclusion It is too brief to view the principles of citizenship from just few pages of paper; I can assume that it is not in-depth and carry too little scopes. The rights to citizenship are too broad and I believe no one can cover them all, but somebody may carry it more effectively than another. It would take long to cover such the topic from philosophical, historical and social backgrounds, and this is beyond my knowledge and target. These few papers just seem to be the initiative on provoking Cambodian peoples already-set rights. But how can one have the citizenship? Education, I believe, is the primary source to grant such the aspiration. Educated people seem to be more on tract with current state of affairs, so it is the educated ones who can see better light on citizenship. What about the uneducated/low-educated one? Do their aspirations toward citizenship are dim? I truly believe so. I am not underestimating the uneducated/low-educated ones, but what I am saying is for the better tomorrow. For, the better light to citizenship, ones must be educated to be on par with the governments and international affairs and other specific branches of knowledge and know-how. Lets just take a very simple example: to have a chance to read this article, somebody needs to have some practical knowledge of English and social issues. Moreover, we need knowledge and attitude to understand governments legal acts and international legal instrument including: treaties, conventions, protocols, etc. This little article strives to push the government to put more attention to education; quality education. In the event such the aspiration is achieved, the government will have a lot of assistants and volunteer advisors. For the purpose for getting more knowledge on citizenship, you are humbly requested to view more international instruments, tabulated hereunder: Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia, adopted by the Constitutional Assembly in Phnom Penh on September 21, 1993 at its 2 nd Plenary Session. Amendments passed 4 th March 1999 . Agreement on a Comprehensive Political Settlement of the Cambodia Conflict (Paris, 23 October 1991). International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, Adopted by the General Assembly resolution 39/46 of December 10, 1984 . Convention on The Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (1979). Convention on the Rights of the Child, Adopted the General Assembly resolution 44/25 of November 20, 1989 . International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Adopted by General Assembly resolution 2200A (XXI) of December 16, 1966 . The Charter of the United Nations, Done at the city of San Francisco the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five. The International Bill of Human Rights, adopted by General Assembly resolution 217 A (III) of December 10, 1948 . And for our aspirations for citizenship, you are obliged to learn about your own powers. Great power comes from great responsibility (extracted from a movie titled SPIDER MAN). Learn 4 Tips on How to Get a Girlfriend

April 24th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Scott Patterson Many guys use the Internet to find tips on how to get a girlfriend. For a lot of them, they have a happy life, but feel an empty void. They think getting a girlfriend will supply happiness and will be an answer to their loneliness. So if you’re worried about getting a girlfriend, then pay attention to these tips. 1- Try to Date Different Women One of the secrets to getting a girlfriend is to date different women. A common mistake I see guys make is to immediately get into a committed relationship with the first woman that pays any attention to them. Don’t do this! While I don’t recommend sleeping around with tons of girls, I think it’s extremely important to date different women. Since your primary goal is to find someone special, you should be selective about whom you choose for a relationship. What you should do is view the whole dating experience as a selection process where you find out what you really want in a potential girlfriend. 2- Have fun with your life The secret to being happy with your life is to take the time to enjoy different things. By only focusing on how to get a girlfriend, you’ll end up being depressed if you don’t immediately find her. Instead of looking for ways to get a girlfriend, you should take the time to enjoy other aspects of your life. This could mean hanging out with your friends, excelling at work/school, exercising, starting a new hobby, or spending time with your family. Just because you lack a girlfriend, doesn’t mean you can’t live life to the fullest. 3- Increase your social circle The secret to enjoying life is expanding on your current social circle and forming great friendships. The first reason this is important is because it gives more opportunities to do interesting activities with people you care about. Like I mentioned in the last tip, having an active life helps you become a better person. The second reason it’s important to increase your social circle is it’ll help you find more women to date. One of the truths to life is many people meet their partners through friends and family. So if you take the time to increase your social life, you’ll have a higher chance to get a girlfriend! 4- Find out what you want and go for it If you follow the previous three tips on how to get a girlfriend, you’ll start to develop a sense of what you want in a partner. My advice is to narrow down the women you date until you find someone who matches your interests and personality. While there are a lot of incredible women out there, it’s important to be in a relationship with someone who completes your life. By taking the time to find the right woman, you’ll end up in a healthy and successful relationship. Hopefully you’ll follow these 4 tips on how to get a girlfriend and become proactive with your life. If you follow my advice, you’ll definitely find the right woman and have a truly happy relationship. Having trouble approaching and attracting women? How I Raised my Family in Ten Words or Less!

April 22nd, 2008 by heshamdack

By Lynne Suzanne A simple shopping expedition to buy new clothes can become a daunting experience when you’ve lost your income through redundancy. Suddenly, “luxuries” like family holidays or a new car seem things of the past. I understand that feeling only too well. It happened to me some years ago. As if that wasn’t enough, my husband was also made redundant at the same time. Then a newspaper article changed my life… The article featured ordinary people, like me and you. I read how they enjoyed holidays to exotic locations, drove gleaming new cars and showered their family and friends with exciting goodies - all for free. Intrigued, I read on. Thinking there must be a catch somewhere! All these “compers” had one thing in common - they won prizes. Cars. Holidays. Landscaped gardens. Entertainment systems. Computers, toys and games for their kids. Luxury kitchens. Even a house. You name it. They won it. Normally, I’d read an article and forget it. But with teenage daughter needing new trainers and time on my hands, apart from seemingly endless job hunting, what had I to lose? A prize crossword in a high street chain store caught my eye. Completed, I sent it on its way and forgot all about it. Three weeks later the postman brought me a long white envelope. “Congratulations…,” I read, “you’ve won a small gift voucher.” At that moment I realized there wasn’t a catch. Ordinary people like you and me could, and did, win competition prizes. It was fun spending the gift voucher, after writing a thank you note to the competition promoter, I wondered if my win was a fluke! I decided to find out… Wandering round the high street stores I discovered a competition in a free magazine in a bank to win one of 25 pair of trainers and an entry form in a men’s clothing store. Having never noticed competitions before it was like going on a treasure hunt. Sherlock Holmes would have been proud of me! An entry form collar on a bottle of wine. A prize draw on a bookmark in the local bookshop. Instead of bags of shopping I came back laden with entry forms, all shapes and sizes. Sitting in the library, wading through an encyclopedia to answer some of the competition questions, I realized what a challenging and fun pastime I’d discovered. And one that was only as expensive as I wanted it to be. Quickly discovering that prize draws were free to enter, all it cost was a postcard and stamp and not even that when you were allowed to drop your entry form into the free prize in-store posting box. Those competitions where you were asked to complete a tiebreaker sentence, such as: “I want to win a car with store because…” usually asked you to attach a qualifying till receipt, I noted. Avoiding expensive “qualifiers”, it was easy to switch buying habits. For instance, instead of your normal brand of soap powder, you simply bought the brand which was running a competition. You kept your till receipt and enclosed it with your entry as proof of purchase or “qualifier” as it was known. Thrilled was an understatement, when a store manager phoned to say I’d won first prize in their free to enter contest. A new wardrobe of clothes. My kids were delighted. Hubby and I took them to the store. I could hardly believe it when, laden with jeans, trousers, T-shirts, fashionable shirts and trainers, the manager accompanied us to a check out. It was like meeting Santa Claus in a suit. He totted up the bill to the amount of our prize win, thanked us for entering their competition and smilingly escorted us to the door before waving us a cheery good-buy! Although unsuccessful at finding new employment, despite scouring job advertisements and completing application forms, my new pastime of “comping” was keeping my brain active as well as changing our shopping and eating habits. Instead of window shopping, knowing we couldn’t afford to buy expensive goodies and luxuries, shopping became fun. Often the only thing I’d come back with from an afternoon of shopping, was a pile of entry forms! The competition tasks were varied, challenging and fun as family general knowledge improved by leaps and bounds. The reference library became a second home. Our diet changed according to qualifying till receipts. “Tonight,” I’d tell my family, “we’re having pizza - to try and win an Italian holiday. Served with tomato salad - to win a holiday in the Canaries. Followed by apples - to win a healthy break in France. Oh, and as a treat, you can have a chocolate - to win a Valentine’s cruise!” “Just remember I need the wrapper!” Within six months of discovering this new pastime, I won a family holiday in Devon, a TV, video recorder and lots of welcome runners-up prizes like bottles of wine, spirits, leather handbag, a watch, camera and shopping vouchers. Then came a worrying time followed by an exciting ten days. On Christmas eve my daughter was rushed to hospital with suspected appendicitis. Whilst in the hospital, we watched Del Boy and Rodney from “Only Fools and Horses” in The Everglades and wished we too, could take an airboat ride just like Del and Rodney. The lady in the next bed passed her magazine to my daughter. Inside was a tiebreaker slogan competition to win a healthy weekend break. A few weeks later, returning late at night from an interview, I opened an interesting looking letter. Tiredness disappeared as I read: “Congratulations, you’ve won a health and country club weekend in the Lake District.” This was followed, a few days later, by a fantastic sur-prize - a family holiday for four to Miami, Florida, including hotel, flights, car hire AND tickets for an air boat ride in The Everglades. Wow! Still on cloud nine, the next morning I answered the phone to a man who quizzed: “Do you remember entering a competition in your local supermarket recently?” “Mmm, yes,” I answered, trying to recall which competition he meant. “Well”, he continued, “you’ve won a brand new car!” I was speechless! He said a confirmation letter was in the post. An agonizing “have I dreamed it or not” weekend followed until a long white envelope arrived on Monday. It was true - I’d won a car! And all for identifying eight products and writing a slogan “In 10 words or less”. And a new job? Well I gave up job hunting! You see, I remembered a childhood ambition to write a book - when I had the time - and now I had the time and the subject - how to Win Your Fortune in Prizes. And the rest, as they say, is history! How to Interpret Cellulite Cream Reviews

April 20th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Craig Weaver As with nearly every other product on the market today there are cellulite cream reviews. This just goes to our basic consumer instinct of trying to know if something is good before we make the purchase and that is completely normal especially when it comes to the fact that money is sometimes tight and wasting it is not an option. There is the problem of knowing which cellulite cream reviews that you should actually use though. The problem is that a lot of the reviews that are now posted on the web are not really reviews at all but biased articles written by a third party that has never even used the product to begin with. This is the kind of thing that you want to stay away from. There is nothing good that can come of this kind of review because it is not giving you any kind of real information that you could use to draw a conclusion and that means that you will not be making an impartial decision to say the least. There has been a real failure on the part of the companies that produce these products to make sure that there are actual reviews being posted about the products they produce and there is some new sites that are looking to change all of that. When you are looking for cellulite cream reviews then you should take the time to check out the site that is hosting the review. If they have been compensated for the review by the company that is selling the product then there is a good chance that the review is not impartial at all. This is completely unethical for doing business but sadly it happens every day. If the site is an unbiased third party that purchased the product for the purpose of the review then you have something that is very good. This is the kind of review that you are wanting to see. They will tell you all of the pros and cons of the product from their standpoint and not just write something that makes the product look good for the purpose of money making. There are times when this kind of review is completely positive or maybe over ninety percent positive. That is completely fine as long as no payment was made to the company for the review. It may just mean that they could barely find anything wrong with it. Craig Weaver is the editor for http://reducecellulite.blogspot.com/ the number one resource for cellulite cream reviews. Don’t Forget Your Camera On Your Next Fishing Trip

April 19th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Trevor Kugler Here’s a little scenario for you: You’re out fishing with your buddy when he hooks into a trophy. It’s a BIG fish and after a long fight, the two of you finally land the monster. You’re both incredibly excited and very happy to have witnessed such an epic moment. Then you realize that you forget your camera, and of course, your friend doesn’t have one either. There are going to be no pictures of the monster on this day. This scenario sucks, I’ve been through it. You’re left with nothing but a great fish story. This is of course assuming that you fish like me, and release fish after you catch them. If you are a catch and release angler, a camera is a pretty important thing. Technology has made it that much easier for all of us to have a quality camera with us at all times. And no I’m not talking about you camera phone. Those cameras aren’t worth the price of admission. I am talking about digital cameras though. Digital cameras have become very affordable and the quality picture they produce is quite amazing. Digital cameras have become small enough that they can fit in most pockets on a fishing vest as well. If you do decide to go with a digital camera, either buy a water resistant one or make sure you store it in a Ziploc bag. We don’t want your camera getting ruined if you have an accident. Another option, which I’ve used in the past, is to carry a disposable camera with you. I used to carry a waterproof disposable camera in my fishing vest that is before I got my digital camera. The disposable camera worked fine and is still a viable and less expensive option. The only issue that I ever had with my disposable waterproof camera is that it was quite bulky. It almost took up an entire pocket in my fishing vest by itself. The digital camera I have now is very small and I don’t even realize it’s there. The bottom line is that you remember your camera on your next fishing trip. Especially if you’re a catch and release angler, as I am. It makes no difference whether you have a digital or disposable camera, just don’t forget the camera. You never know when you might run into something on the water that you’d like to capture. I’ve seen sun rises and sunsets that bring a tear to my eye, and I’m glad IU had a camera with my to capture the essence of them. 3 Reasons Mom Should Have A Hobby

April 16th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Carrie Lauth Moms these days are busy, but we’re more stressed than ever before and in need of lifestyle choices that help us be happier. Pursuing a hobby may be just the ticket. Having a hobby relieves stress Spending time with a hobby replaces negative thoughts and replaces them with positive thoughts and feelings. Having a hobby or creative outlet can lift your spirits and help with depression. Unlike passive activities like television viewing, a hobby provides intellectual stimulation while simultaneously relaxing you. Repetitive actions like those used in knitting are especially calming. Hobbies help you parent better We are good at signing our children up for lessons and classes and encouraging them to have hobbies, but we forget that we also need to learn new things and grow as people. Hobbies also connect you with other people who share your interests. A hobby can help you maintain your separate identity as a real person and not just as Mom. This models healthy habits and boundaries for our kids. Hobbies provide a refreshing change from your routine If you’re a stay at home Mom, you may be frustrated because at the end of the day you can hardly point to anything you’ve “done”. That’s because of the repetitive nature of housework and childcare. In generations past, women pursued hobbies like quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet and embroidery not only because they were enjoyable but because they provided tangible value to the family, either providing clothing for their backs or much needed income. Why not carve out some time to pursue a hobby Mom? http://www.mommyhobby.com is a resource site for moms who want to enrich their lives with scrapbooking, sewing, crochet, knitting, tennis, embroidery and other hobbies. Locating Resources For Homeschooling

April 14th, 2008 by heshamdack

By Christopher Byrnes Homeschooling is slowly becoming a trend nowadays and most parents are having fun with the interaction they are having with their child. Some parents are still having second thoughts regarding homeschooling though. Their main concern is that they might be having some problems finding resources to use for homeschooling. This article will help you find resources from different places. The first stop is a ride to your nearest bookstores. Armed with a list of possible books to buy from a curriculum of a school, you can buy the books at any convenient bookstore. This will save you a lot of time and give you flexibility with regards to your child’s studies as bookstores have more choices and references for your child to use. An alternative stop would be a trip to your closest magazine stores. Magazines provide you a lot of catalogs where you can choose from a lot of advertisers listed in it. This will help you from spending lots of time searching through bookstores and will give you a sense of what your child’s going to get. Of course, with all the technology available on the internet, you should not be really surprised that you can find websites offering help in your child’s studies. Some of them can be easily found when searching at Google and some of them can be given to you by other people who are also having their child homeschooled. The simplest place to look for resources is by going to a public library. Public libraries have books and references for you child to take home and use. To help with that, libraries have different instructional materials such as videos (like those from National Geographic) and cassette tapes (like tapes that will help you learn another language). These instructional materials not only help with the books in teaching but they also help in easing out the boring quality and the monotony ofbooks given out to children. Libraries also offer a lot of computer software which will not only help with your child’s learning but will also help him in understanding different computer technologies and how they work. Often computer software is easy and fun to use, therefore attracting a lot of young people to use it. Libraries also give book discussions. Book discussions not only train your child to read but also to think and criticize every thing that he/she reads. This will not only develop reading comprehension, it will also help your child in critical thinking. Another place to look at is at the house of another parent who decided to homeschool their children. You might find it interesting that they are willing to share both their experiences and their used materials (books, references and other activity materials). You could save a lot of money and at the same time learn from these people who have already experienced the joys and the pains of homeschooling a child. The most neglected place and probably one of the most informational, next only to a library, is the museum. A trip to a museum will not only help your child appreciate art and history but your child will also learn a lot from observing and listening to the history of all the museum displays. The best way to conduct this is by joining a group museum tour where there will be an instructor to guide and give you bits of information that will help your child. The last place, but definitely not the least in this list, is inside your home. Search your cupboard and teach your child some simple baking lessons. This will not only help your relationship with your child but it will also promote your child to learn patience and of course will teach your child how to bake. You could also do outdoor activities such as planting seeds. This will help your child be interested in plant life but if coupled with other activities (such as mathematics), this has a potential to be both fun and instructional. You basically just have to find out where your child’s attention is focused. Upon learning this, you can try to join your child’s playtime and turn it into something educational. Anti-Depressants Linked to Fatal Condition in Newborns

April 10th, 2008 by heshamdack

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=William_Gallahue] William Gallahue There is nothing on this earth more valuable than your child. The feeling of holding your child for the first time is an amazing experience beyond words. We all want the best for our children but new research shows that drugs intended to help moms may cause a fatal condition in infants. Every year 12-18 million Americans are treated with anti-depressants. Zoloft, Prozac, and Paxil are some of the common ones as they often appear in advertising. Those anti-depressants are just a few examples of a large class of drugs known as SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) which aim to correct neurological chemical imbalances. Those kinds of drugs were recently linked to the dangerous condition, Pediatric Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension when they were taken as the mother was pregnant. The condition causes the Pulmonary artery, which is responsible for blood flow to the lungs, to constrict which significantly elevates blood pressure. This can create fatal conditions if it is not treated properly. According to the study, mothers who had taken SSRIs during the last half of their terms had a significantly increased rate (6x the average) of having their children develop the disease. The condition is estimated to affect 2-6 children per 1,000 live births a year with speculation that it accounts for a large percentage of neonatal deaths. Treatment varies based on the severity of the condition. Daily medication and constant monitoring of the child is required but in more severe cases, children may be required to wear external devices to deliver medicine. If you are on anti-depressants and are pregnant or plan to have a child, please contact your doctor. Note: This article is not meant to infer a patient doctor relationship.
